How to Get 20% Off Tickets (member discounts + Super Saver Days)

You can get an extra 20% off your tickets if you go on a “Super Saver Day”.

To get the discounts, go to the official Ekka website and sign up for their emails. They will let you know first when tickets go on sale so you can grab the discount.

There are a few different tickets so you can choose what’s best for you.

• Adult: For anyone 15 years and older.
• Child: For kids between 5 and 14 years old.
• Little Ekka: Kids 4 and under get in for FREE!
• Family: A good value ticket for two adults and two kids.
• Twilight Ticket: A cheaper ticket if you just want to go in the evening (entry is after 4 pm).⁵ Perfect for seeing the fireworks!
• Concession: For students or seniors with a valid card.

The Ekka Fun Pass (For Rides & Games)

The Fun Pass is the easiest way to pay for all the rides and carnival games.⁷

• What is it? It’s like a special Ekka debit card. You load money onto it and then just tap the card to pay for each ride or game. No more fiddling with cash or paper coupons!
• How does it work?
  1. Buy a Fun Pass online before you go, or at a kiosk when you get to the Ekka.
  2. Load it with money. There are often special deals where you get bonus credit (for example, you might pay $50 and get $60 of value to spend!).
  3. Tap your card at the ride or game you want to try, and you’re ready to go!

All About Showbags!

You can’t go to the Ekka without getting a showbag!

The Showbag Pavilion is a huge hall filled with nearly 400 different showbags. You can find bags packed with lollies, chocolates, chips, toys, magazines, makeup, and so much more but no vegetables or fruit (wrong pavillion). There’s a bag for every budget, with prices starting from $2.

Exhibition Station is operating for 2025

Don’t forget the Exhibition Train Station is open for Ekka 2025! The trains arrive and depart from within the Showgrounds. At only 50 cents for a ticket it’s one of the cheapest, easiest and most efficient ways to get to Ekka. See Translink for more info.
